FieldWarden is made by SEAX Enterprises in Edmonton, Alberta. If something is not working, or you have a question, write to us — a person reads every message.
Email: support@seaxenterprises.com
We aim to reply within two business days. It helps to include the app version (it is at the bottom of the More tab, for example "FieldWarden 0.1.0 (build 4)") and, for a problem, what you tapped just before it happened.
Common questions
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen tap Forgot password? and enter your email address. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder, then write to us from the address on your account and we will help you back in.
Does FieldWarden work without signal?
Yes. Everything you record is saved on your phone first and sent when you are back online. The cloud icon at the top of each screen shows what is waiting; tap it for the details. Satellite imagery for a field is kept on the phone for 30 days after you star the field.
Where is my data kept?
On your phone, and — once you sign in — on our servers in Canada. The privacy policy explains exactly what is collected, why, and who else handles it.
How do I export my data?
In the app: More → Settings → Export my data (JSON). You get every record your organisation owns.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: More → Settings → Delete account, then confirm with your password. If you are the only member of your organisation, its farms, fields, observations and photographs are deleted too. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, so export first if you want a copy. If you cannot sign in any more, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it for you. Full details: Account and data deletion.
Is FieldWarden free?
During the beta, every account has the Pro and Team features at no cost. Prices will be announced before paid plans start, and nobody is charged without choosing to subscribe. The supply calculator is free, with or without an account.
The numbers in the calculator do not match the label
FieldWarden does arithmetic on the rates you enter; the product label is the law. Always check rates, re-entry intervals and pre-harvest intervals against the label. If you think the arithmetic itself is wrong, please send us the inputs and the result — we treat that as the most serious kind of bug.
How does FieldWarden identify a weed, insect or disease?
On an observation, tap Help me identify: pick weed, disease or insect, answer two or three questions about what you see, and compare the likely matches for your field's crop, each with how to confirm it. It works offline and sends nothing. Where it is switched on, Identify from photo asks an AI model for suggestions from your photo; a copy with no location is sent for that one request. Both are aids, not a diagnosis — confirm in the field, or with your agronomist, before deciding on any treatment.
How do I e-mail a report to a grower?
Open the report, tap Email the report → Email from my phone. Your own mail app opens with the PDF attached and the link in the message, sent from your address. No mail app on the phone? Use Share to send the link by text or any app. Links work for 60 days, or until you revoke them.
How do I add people to my team, or join one?
More → Team. An agronomist taps Invite a member, chooses a role and sends the link or code however they like. The person opens the link on their phone, or goes to More → Team → Join a team and pastes the code. Joining moves their account into the team; records from their previous organisation stay behind, and the app says exactly what before they confirm.
Which phones are supported?
iPhones running iOS 16.4 or later. An Android version and a desktop web app are planned.
Beta testers
Thank you. The quickest way to report a problem is from TestFlight: take a screenshot in FieldWarden and tap Share Beta Feedback, or open TestFlight → FieldWarden → Send Beta Feedback. Email works too.
