Account & Data Deletion

Delete your account and everything in it, anytime.

You can delete your FieldWarden account, and everything in it, at any time.

From the app

  1. Open FieldWarden and go to More → Settings.
  2. Tap Delete account and confirm with your password.

That is all. You are signed out on every device straight away.

If you cannot sign in

Email support@seaxenterprises.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my FieldWarden account. We confirm it is you, delete the account, and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

  • Immediately and permanently: your user account and sign-in. If you are the only member of your organisation, the organisation goes too, with all its farms, fields, boundaries, observations, photographs, recommendations, calculations, operations, tasks, sampling plans, traps, reports and report links (which stop working at once).
  • If other people remain in your organisation: your user is deleted and the records you created stay with the organisation, because they are the organisation's shared records. Ask an agronomist in your team if you want something specific removed.
  • There is no undo. Export a copy first if you want one: More → Settings → Export my data (JSON).

What remains, and for how long

  • Backups: nightly copies of the server age out on their normal cycle within about six weeks. They are used only to restore the service after a failure, never to bring back a deleted account.
  • Security logs: kept to protect the service from fraud and abuse, with your user ID, IP address and the details of each entry removed, so they no longer identify you.
  • Purchase records: Apple keeps its own records of App Store purchases; tax law may require us to keep transaction records. During the free beta there are none.
  • Copies you made: a report PDF you downloaded or sent to someone is outside FieldWarden; we cannot delete it.

Data on a phone you no longer use is removed the next time anyone signs in on it, or when the app is deleted.
