- What Fernhand is. A tool for families and caregivers to organize visit summaries, tasks, handoffs and care information. It is not medical advice, not a medical record, not a medical device, and not an emergency or monitoring service. In an emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number). Always follow the guidance of qualified health professionals.
- AI drafts. Drafts (on-device or optional cloud) are suggestions that may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and editing them before saving or sharing.
- Eligibility & accounts. You must be 18+. Keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity in your account.
- Care circles & consent. Organizers decide who joins and what roles they have. Only add information you have the right to share, and respect the privacy of the person cared for and of other members. Do not add information about people outside the circle's care purpose.
- Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed by Apple through your Apple ID, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, and can be managed in your App Store account settings. A circle's plan comes from its organizer. Refunds are handled by Apple. The Apple Standard EULA (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies.
- Acceptable use. No unlawful, abusive, or harmful content; no attempts to access other circles, bypass limits, or disrupt the service.
- Your content. You own it. You grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service. You can export or delete it in the app.
- Availability. We work hard to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Do not rely on Fernhand as your only copy of critical information.
- Liability. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and SEAX Enterprises is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on content in the app.
- Termination. You can delete your account anytime. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
- Law. Alberta, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada, unless your local consumer law says otherwise.
- Changes. We'll notify you in the app of material changes.
